Consob, Savona: “Regulations hinder savings. Inflation? An unfair tax”
Choices of investment, savings and the grip ofinflation. The president of the Consob, Paul Savonataking part in the presentation of the report Consob on the investment choices of Italian families in 2022, takes stock of the situation.
First, the percentage of investors who report having registered a temporary or permanent decline of its revenue stands at 23%, an increase compared to 2021 (when it stood at 17%). The percentage of families “fragile”, i.e. in difficulty in meeting fixed and recurring expenses, reaching 37% of the sample (33% in 2021). Remains stable instead at 23% the share of individuals who declare they are not able to manage a unexpected expense of 1,000 euros (‘exposed’ households)”. This is what emerges from the Consob Report on the investment choices of Italian households 2022, which is based on a survey carried out on a representative sample of Italian investors.
