Although he may have faced a penalty of almost 40 years in prisonthe musician was released after paying bail, and although the time was short, it was enough for him to change his way of seeing life, as he revealed in an interview for the Creative Clips podcast.
In his story, Eduardo Davalos De Lunathe singer’s real name, relived the moment he arrived in prison and confessed that at first he sought to associate with those who, like him, had a long sentence, because he knew that joining forces with someone else could save his life at some point. : “When I was in jail I was already with pure murderers, pure long hair, I also said: ‘why do I make friends with vatos who come for a short time and I’m going to lose that strength and I come for a long time’I was sentenced to 25 to 40 years,” he said.
He even relived the worst moment of his stay in the prison, the punishment he suffered for several months for allegedly being related to the entry of cell phones into the cells. “They grounded me for a while, I was alone for almost four months, without reading, without writing, without TV, or radio, without a cellmate. 24 hours of light, the kind that buzzes and I don’t know if it was night or day, a fucking cell all white,” he added.
Although it was difficult, Babo admitted that this experience made him reflect on what he was doing with his lifebecause he confessed that he was involved in gang problems and drug issues: “There I had a very big revelation about my big ego and my stupid head, because I was immersed in that situation because of gang and drug things, you know? In the end That was what led me there. All that background that led me to shoot a vato and one of those bullets stung up and hit a friend of mine.”
Finally, he explained that he is already preparing a project about this stage of his life, and although he did not delve further, he did make it clear that it will be available through the streaming platform, Netflix.
