The Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) as well as Deputy Chairman of the Gerindra Party Board of Trustees, Sandiaga Uno appeared to be present from the inauguration of the Gerindra Joint Secretariat (Sekber) and PKB.
Sandiaga Uno said that his presence at the inauguration of the Gerindra-PKB Secretariat was because he was specifically invited by the general chairman of the Gerindra DPP, Prabowo Subianto.
“I was specially invited by Pak Prabowo to attend and of course I’m happy to see it because the election stage is about a year away from now, and this is working together which hopefully will bring blessings to the future,” he said, Monday (23/1 /2023).
Sandiaga Uno added that he saw good chemistry between Prabowo and PKB chairman Muhaimin Iskandar when inaugurating the Sekber.

“I certainly saw that there was good chemistry in the room, lots of jokes (jokes) and also Pak Prabowo was very relaxed, and Gus Imin too,” he said.
On this occasion, Sandiaga Uno also congratulated the inauguration of the Gerindra-PKB Secretariat.
“And of course on this blessed day, 1 Rajab, apart from that also our brothers, the Chinese are celebrating part of the Lunar New Year, the new year of the water rabbit, so this is the right day to formalize joint steps and be realized in joint secretariat,” concluded Sandiaga Uno.
Previously, Deputy Chairperson of the DPP Gerindra Party, Budisatrio Djiwandono, explained that the existence of the Joint Secretariat would show the cohesiveness of the two parties in the coalition.
“The inauguration of the Joint Secretariat is part of a series of coalition programs and commitments that have been officially formed between Gerindra and PKB since a few months ago; starting from the signing of the Coalition Declaration Charter, to various series of exchange visits between the two chairmen in the official events of each party, “said Budi in his statement, Saturday (21/1/2023).

Budi said, the meaning of the Joint Secretariat was also to show an equal position in formulating ideology, strategy and the direction of nation-building together, by involving the entire structure of the two parties from the central to the regional levels. He added, Sekber will not only be a place to win the 2024 general election.
“This Sekber is not only a vehicle for winning the 2024 election, but also a platform for joint struggle to combine the views and programs of each party to build Indonesia, within a framework of unity,” he said.
