The agreement with D’Aversa and Iachini has not yet been found. For now, the team is entrusted to the youth sector manager, who could also stay until Saturday’s derby against Napoli
Salernitana is still without a coach. The day after Davide Nicola’s sacking, president Iervolino’s club has not yet chosen a new coach, so in the afternoon the second training session of the week will be directed by Stefano Colantuono, the current manager of the Salernitana youth sector.
At his side Nicola’s collaborators, Manuele Cacicia and Simone Barone yesterday on the field for the resumption of preparation. Colantuono has already been at the helm of Salernitana on two occasions, the last time last season: he took over from Castori before being replaced by Nicola. A temporary job for the Roman coach cannot be ruled out, that is until next Saturday’s derby with Napoli. In the meantime, the club continues to dialogue with possible replacements but, at the moment, no agreement has been found with Roberto D’Aversa and Beppe Iachini, the two main candidates to replace Nicola. With both there is no agreement on the duration of the contract.
