RIYAD (AP/RTR) – Cristiano Ronaldo has been eliminated with Al-Nassr in the semi-finals of the Saudi Super Cup. The Portuguese star lost with his team 3-1 to Al-Ittihad in Riyadh.
The 37-year-old star player had a few chances for a goal, but did not score. Al-Ittihad’s defense was able to defend him well for almost the entire game.
Ronaldo made his debut in the competition in Saudi Arabia for Al-Nassr last Sunday with a win (1-0). The Portuguese did not score himself. In a friendly match of Al-Nassr against PSG, Ronaldo’s unofficial debut, he had scored two goals.
