Born in 2003, 9 goals this season between the league and the Italian Cup, the player has signed his first professional contract
José Mourinho aimed straight for the green line. And Rome is no different. If since the arrival of the Special One in Trigoria there have been several Primavera players launched into the first team – Felix, Zalewski, Bove and Volpato are just a few examples – in the offices of Fulvio Bernardini also the general manager Tiago Pinto continues to work with the objective to lock down the most promising young players in the Giallorossi youth field. The latest blow, in this sense, was achieved this afternoon. In fact, the Portuguese GM has reached an agreement for the renewal of Claudio Cassano, striker born in 2003 for the Primavera – 9 goals this season between the league and the Italian Cup – who signed his first professional contract until 2026.
THE DREAM CONTINUES
—
Born on 22 July 2003 in Trani – but raised in Barletta – last October the Apulian forward earned his first call-up to the first team. In fact, Mourinho had decided to take him to Seville on the occasion of the match against Betis while, in November, he was called up for the blue shirt with the Under 20s. Today however – flanked by agents Frak Zotti and Stefano Vitullo – he is linked to Roma for the next three years. A special moment, which the boy wanted to make public with a post on Instagram: “A dream that continues. Proud to be able to renew my contract with these fantastic colors until 2026. I particularly thank those who have always been close to me, my family , work always pays off. DAJE ROMA”.
