Rob, who also regularly passes by late at night, explains in the latest podcast that there is basically no payment, but that those rules do not apply to ‘people whose job it is to find out and present a certain subject. prepare’ and then join them in a talk show. “Then the product is the story in the talk show that is then paid for,” says Rob.
But what does that mean, as a celebrity in a talk show? According to Rob, the amounts are not wrong. However, not every well-known Dutch person leaves the talk show table with well-filled pockets. For example, Angela de Jong doesn’t ask for anything. “We know that Peter R. de Vries got a lot, but we also know how seriously Peter took the preparation. So if anyone was worth it, it was him,” says Rob.
According to the journalist, the amounts start at 350 euros and there are also celebrities, including Marc-Marie Huijbregts, who receive 2000 euros per performance. Something Rob doesn’t think it’s worth. He calls the amount that the comedian receives ‘a total waste of money’. Luuk is also shocked by the amount. “If that’s it, I almost think it… then you have to attract a lot of viewers to the program. Then it must also become clear in the figures: if that person is there, well, then you should see how many young, fresh TV viewers suddenly stick.”
