PURWOKERTO.SUARA.COM, BANYUMAS – The Surabaya BIN Samator team is getting stronger in third place in the standings after defeating its rival, Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi with a score of 3-1 (25-23, 23-25, 31-29, 25-20) in the continued PLN Mobile Proliga 2023 at GOR Satria Purwokerto, Saturday (14/1/2023).
This is the third win out of four matches for the team from East Java in the 2023 season. In the previous series, Samator won two wins over Kudus Sukun Badak 3-1 and won from Jakarta Pertamina Pertamax 3-0, and lost 2-3 to Palembang Bank Sumsel Babel.
With three wins and one loss, Samator is in third place after Jakarta Allo Bank and Jakarta STIN BIN with 10 points.
According to Assistant Coach Samator, Sigit Ari Widodo, the victory over Bhayangkara could not be separated from the luck factor.

“We won lucky, especially the third and fourth sets,” Sigit told reporters after the match.
Tedi Oka Syahputra, one of Samator’s players, said that in the second set, Ryan Masajedi’s team should have won if the players’ concentration was maintained.
“But in the second set we lost focus,” said Tedi briefly.
On the other hand, the Bhayangkara Presisi coach, Reidel Alfonso Gonzales Toiran, said that his team made many unforced errors. This mistake that benefits the opposing side.
“We have to learn from our own mistakes for future matches,” said the coach who once strengthened Samator.
