Tonight, Belén Cuesta and Jaime Lorente have visited the set of ‘El Hormiguero’ to talk about ‘Christ and the King’, their new series and the first episodes of which can already be seen on the ATREplayer PREMIUM platform.
Fiction revives, four decades later, the relationship of Bárbara Rey, the muse of uncovering, with Ángel Cristo, the best tamer in the world. A love story full of lights and shadows that ended up becoming a true nightmare as they themselves have told.
For both of them, the most difficult scenes to shoot have not been the sex scenes but the scenes of violence: “I have had a very bad time, as an actor I could not find a place of empathy to do that”, Jaime Lorente has confessed. For Belén, the support of a magnificent team and her partner has been essential: “It has been very easy within all the difficulty involved in shooting scenes like this,” says the actress.
Outside of the series, Jaime has told the program about the snout he gave him a few years ago when he presented his test for a Hollywood movie: “I’m a bit of a scoundrel,” he confessed. In addition, they have played the game of truth or lie in Trancas y Barrancas… Is Jaime really the name of the actor?
