PSV coach Ruud van Nistelrooij has captain Luuk de Jong back on Saturday in the home game against Go Ahead Eagles. The striker missed Tuesday’s 1-0 loss against FC Emmen due to a head injury, which he sustained against Vitesse (1-0 win) a week ago.
Newcomer Fábio Silva, who is hired from Wolverhampton Wanderers, is also in the selection. “Until recently, he played for Anderlecht and is therefore in top shape and ready for immediate use,” said Van Nistelrooij after training about the 20-year-old Portuguese attacker on Friday. “Ismael Saibari is also available again, so that’s a plus for the group.”
It is an option to play matches with De Jong and Silva, according to the PSV coach. “Fábio can also play from the side.”
