Laskar Mahesa Jenar managed to beat RANS Nusantar FC with a score of 1-0 in Week 18 of the BRI Liga 1 2022/2023 at Pakansari Bogor Stadium, Monday (16/1/2023).
For this victory, PSIS Semarang’s wish to reap full points came true.
PSIS’s single winning goal was scored by its flagship striker from Portugal, Carlos Fortes in the 47th minute.
Of course these three points are the perfect start for PSIS to wade through the second round of the highest caste in the country.

“Thank God we got full points as the initial target before the match. We want full points with maximum preparation,” said the interim coach of PSIS and Head of Analysis of the PSIS Senior Team, Muhammad Ridwan at a press conference after the match.
Apart from being relieved that the team was able to win at the opponent’s cage, M Ridwan also had his own relief regarding the condition of his players after the match.
“We are grateful that we were able to end the match so well. And what’s more important is that the players can leave the field without being injured,” added M Ridwan.
In this fight, PSIS appeared with different strengths, including some of their new ammunition who had just joined in the second round, such as goalkeeper Muhammad Adi Satryo, defenders Bayu Fiqri and Meru Kimura as well as M Lutfhi Kamal and foreign player from Japan, Ryo Fujji.
This victory makes PSIS now in 9th place with 23 points. Meanwhile, RANS Nusantara FC is still stuck in 15th place with a score of 16.
