BEIRUT – Hezbollah’s threat in Lebanon against Israel cannot be underestimated, especially if it involves the special forces of the Al-Ridwan Brigade.
Hezbollah previously warned it would not leave Palestine alone to be attacked by “Zionist wolves”.
Senior Hezbollah figure Hassan Hoballah said Israel was frightened by the potential for the Al-Ridwan Brigade movement to enter Israeli-occupied Palestine.
Hassan Hoballah is the Hezbollah official in charge of Palestinian relations. He was reported by news portal Rai al-Youm as saying the United States (US) advised Israel not to change the rules of the game in Palestine following the desecration of Al Aqsa Mosque by Israel’s new National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir of the far-right camp.
So who is the Al-Ridwan Brigade and how has it been doing so far?
The strength of the Al-Ridwan Brigade has been famous for a long time, especially when the Syrian war raged and Hezbollah became one of the supporters of Syrian President Bashar Al Asad.
It should be noted, the Al-Ridwan Brigade is one of President Assad’s spearheads against Syrian rebel groups and the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

The special forces unit is often sent to the front lines of battle to quell rebel forces and ISIS in Syria.
Hezbollah has also used the Al-Ridwan Brigades to threaten Israel. Hezbollah even released a video of the Al-Ridwan Brigade unit tasked with “conquering” Israel’s Galilee in 2020.
