JAKARTA – Office United States of America (US) reveal senior leader ISIS Bilal al-Sudani was killed in the exchange of fire after US troops descended on the cave complex in the mountains of Di Somalia North in an attempt to capture him.
The arrests were authorized directly by President Joe Biden after months of coordination and planning from Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and advice from Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley.

Bilal al-Sudani along with 10 other ISIS members were killed in the military attack operation on Wednesday night (25/1/2023). US officials said there were no casualties among civilians or other US service members during the military operation.
Al-Sudani has been cited by the US military as a key operator and facilitator of ISIS’s global network due to its efforts to maintain an ISIS presence in Africa and around the world, including ISIS’s Khorasan branch in Afghanistan.
Al-Sudani has a long history as a terrorist in Somalia. Prior to joining ISIS, al-Sudani was appointed by the US Treasury in 2012 for his role in al-Shabaab. Its role is to help foreign fighters travel to al-Shabaab training camps and facilitate financing for foreign violent extremists in Somalia.

According to the US Treasury, al-Sudani had worked with another ISIS agent, Abdella Hussein Abadigga, who had recruited youths in South Africa and sent them to weapons training camps. Abadigga is the ruler of two mosques in South Africa.
However, he has abused his position to extort money from mosque members. Al-Sudani regards Abadigga as a trusted supporter who can help ISIS supporters in South Africa become better organized and recruit new members.
