The man pretended to be an employee of a bank, and that is how he managed to get bank cards, PIN codes and other data. On the phone, he told his victims that there was a problem with their bank account. It was allegedly hacked, or ‘attempted’ to debit money unintentionally. Shortly after the telephone conversation, the suspect visited the elderly to confiscate their bank cards. Subsequently, large amounts of money were debited from ATMs with those cards.
