It is known that every Muslim who will perform prayer is recommended to perform ablution. As for the recommendation to perform ablution before this prayer, it is written in the hadith of the Prophet SAW, which reads as follows:
“On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, he said that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, ‘Allah does not accept the prayer of one of you when he performs ablution until he performs ablution.’ Ahdatsa means that hadas appears, which is something that comes out of one of the two ways or the other canceling ablution.” (HR Bukhari).
Everyone who is going to perform ablution is also encouraged to read his intention first and then when finished it is perfected with a prayer after ablution.

Asyhadu al laa ilaaha illallah wahdahu laa syariika lah, wa asyhadu anna muhammadan ‘abduhu wa rasuuluhu. Allahumma ij’alni minat tawwaabiina waj’alni minal mutathahhiriin.
Meaning: “I testify that there is no god but Allah, the Almighty, he has no partners. And I testify that the Prophet Muhammad is his servant and messenger. O Allah, make me one of those who repent and make me among the pure.” “.
