Postal Bonds: Interest rates apply to refunds
New positive judgments of the Law courts and some Courts of merit that recognize consumer law, holders of postal savings bonds, to obtain the greatest repayment, as foreseen by the interest rates stamped on the securities. Finally, it is the Court of Velletri (judgment n. 2113 of 11/16/2022) that confirms the jurisprudential orientation already followed in the past by the Courts of Appeal of Florence and Naples and by Courts of Trapani, Naples and Santa Maria Capua Vetere.
Rejoice the Codacons: “The jurisprudence on the merits is now constant in this sense, as also supported by our Association, savers have the right to obtain the sums due to them and which are concretely indicated by the securities in their possession, with nothing being valid as stated by Poste, about the fact that inferior interests must be recognized, based on variations of the Ministerial decrees not correctly indicated in the titles.”
