Head of East Java Regional Police Public Relations Commissioner Dirmanto said investigators received information from Ferry Irawan’s attorney who wanted a meeting with Venna Melinda.
“Investigators received information from lawyers to facilitate a meeting between the victim and the reported,” Dirmanto told reporters during a press conference at the East Java Regional Police, Friday (20/1/2023).
Regarding the request from the suspect Ferry Irawan, the East Java Regional Police will facilitate a meeting between the two in the near future. Therefore, the East Java Regional Police will summon Ferry Irawan and Venna Melinda. Is it true that the meeting between the two was for peace?

“Now, God willing, next week additional examinations will be carried out on the two people. Both the reporters, namely Venna Melinda and the reported brother Feri Irawan,” said Dirmanto.
In addition to the matter of summoning the two, Dirmanto also said that East Java Police investigators had received a letter of suspension of detention from attorney Ferry Irawan.
“We convey the progress of the investigation into the Venna Melinda domestic violence case. Regarding the request for a suspension of detention, it is true that the East Java Regional Police Directorate of Criminal Investigation, Sub-Directorate of Renakta, accepted the application for a suspension of detention,” explained Dirmanto.
Regarding the application letter, investigators are still conducting an assessment so that until now Ferry Irawan is still in the custody of the East Java Regional Police.
“However, the information we received from investigators this afternoon will still be reviewed regarding the letter,” he said.

Ferry Irawan was looking forward to meeting Venna Melinda, who admitted that since the alleged domestic violence case emerged, the door to communication with his wife had been tightly closed.
Jeffry Simatupang, Legal Counsel for Ferry Irawan, said that his client hopes that his household problems can be resolved peacefully. Moreover, Venna Melinda is still the legal wife of Ferry Irawan.
“Until now, we hope to be able to take a peaceful path with the reporting party who is the legal wife of our client,” said Jeffry recently.
