Suara.com – The Mining Police Criminal Investigation Unit arrested two men with the initials AL (46) and AA (26) suspected of misusing subsidized diesel fuel (BBM) on Jalan Raya Bangkinang-Pekanbaru KM 28, Kualu Nenas Village, Tambang District, Kampar Regency, Riau.
“The two were caught red-handed transferring diesel fuel from a truck to a 35 liter jerry can. We have arrested the perpetrators at the Police Headquarters,” said Kampar Police Chief AKBP Didik Priyo Sambodo SIK through Mining Police Chief Iptu Mardani Tohenes to the media in Kampar, Saturday (28/1/2023 ).
Mardani said that this case was revealed after his party received a report from the public and then officers conducted an investigation.
He stated that based on the results of the investigation, he stated that a BM-8129-FQ truck belonging to the perpetrator was stopping at a house. Based on community information, the house belongs to a man with the initials AL.

Officers who visited the location found the suspect AA transferring oil from a truck’s tank to a large jerry can.
“The suspect AA was caught red-handed transferring oil from trucks to jerry cans,” said Mardani.
The Criminal Investigation Team immediately moved into the house and found 16 jerry cans containing more than 544 liters of subsidized diesel oil and five empty jerry cans. In addition to the truck and fuel evidence, the Criminal Investigation team also secured a 3/4 centimeter, one meter long hose.
The actions of the two perpetrators, said Mardani, violated Article 55 and Article 40 of the Republic of Indonesia Law number 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation regarding changes to the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 22 of 2001 concerning Oil and Gas. (Between)
