After its launch and recent news, now we have more details and recently confirmed news for the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch game. Pokémon Scarlet and Purple and their compatibility with Pokémon Home.
Pokémon Home x Pokémon Scarlet and Purple
The information focuses on a new update for pokemon home service which will add support for Ranked Matches Pokemon Scarlet and Purple. After its initial announcement, it has now been confirmed that Pokémon Home will go into maintenance on February 1st 2023 from 01:00 UTC to 06:00 UTC (more times here). During this time, both the Nintendo Switch and the mobile versions will not be available. After the maintenance, the 2.1.0 update will be released on mobile. This adds the visualization of battle data in Pokémon Scarlet and Purple, and the possibility of consulting classifications and statistics of these ranked and online battles.
In this way, Home users will be able to follow the news of these combats from the app. It seems that this will only be available in the mobile version of Pokémon Home.
However, this is not the update that will make Pokémon Home compatible with Scarlet and Purple to transfer Pokémon, so we will have to stay tuned to see when it is finally released. For now we only know that it will arrive in the spring of 2023.
