The PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games of January 2023 have already been officially announced, so in the publication shared by the Japanese company, thirteen games were revealed in total that would be added to the catalog of the subscription service as of next January 17. However, everything has changed in the last hours, since the ad had to be rectified because one of the officially announced games will not finally be part of the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium additions this month, thanks to a blunder in the post.
This has been announced by PlayStation itself, through a rectification that has also been corroborated by the development studio of the title in question, Forty Seven, so Sayonara Wild Hearts will not be among the games available on PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium in January 2023 and it cannot be downloaded on PS5 and PS4 on the 17th. For the moment, no concrete explanation has been offered why this error is due and if the title will be part of the catalog in a subsequent month, so we will have to stay tuned for any news in this regard.
It is not the first time that the subscription service has made this type of errorsince in the summer of 2022 also the arrival of Dino Crisis was announced by mistake to the catalog of classic titles, although it was eventually withdrawn without any pertinent explanation and the acclaimed Capcom title has never been heard from again. In this way, finally there will be twelve games that land on PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium in January 2023.
