In case you hadn’t heard, one of the main topics of conversation these days has been Shakira’s new song called Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53, which became the song with the most streams in a single day on Spotify history. All this since in the musical theme, she speaks directly to her ex-husband Gerard Piqué, dedicating controversial phrases to him that have generated different reactions around the world.
And one of these reactions has been that of Gerard Piqué himself, who, as many of you know, has become a businessman who maintains some businesses such as an esports team with Ibai Llanos, with whom he also leads the King’s League, which is a soccer competition. 7 made up of 12 teams, which are led by content creators.

Reaction that has been specifically to a part of the song, where Shakira says “you changed a Rolex for a Casio”, referring to the ex-soccer player’s alleged infidelity. Phrase to which Piqué responded in a King’s League stream arriving with a Casio watch on his wrist and also announcing that he has reached an agreement with the brand. And as if this were not enough, he also distributed Casio watches to the presidents of the league teams, indicating that “this watch is for life.”
A piece of news that clearly seems like a joke by Piqué but that apparently is completely true and that generated funny but somewhat uncomfortable moments within the stream. One of them was when they asked why the agreement with the brand, to which Kun Agüero, one of the presidents of the King’s League, shouted that it was “because of Shakira’s song”.
You can see the announcement and the responses of the league participants in the video that we leave you below.
