In view of the violent events recorded this Thursday in Sinaloa, Femsa reported the fire of an Oxxo store in Los Mochis, as well as two delivery trucks retained.
“Fortunately, all our collaborators and clients are well. We reiterate that their safety is our highest priority. We are in communication with the corresponding authorities”said Femsa Corporate Communications.
The acts of violence in Culiacán before the arrest by the Army of Ovidio Guzmán paralyzed economic activity in the capital of Sinaloa. Financial institutions confirmed that there were no operations to safeguard collaborators and clients.
According to data from the National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV), in Culiacán there are 139 bank branches and 596 ATMs.
According to consulted banks, from the morning of this Thursday the recommendation of not open operations in Culiacánin line with the call of the state authorities that asked the population to stay safe at home.
