ROME, JAN 17 – An online petition to ask for the reopening of the investigations linked to the death of Pier Paolo Pasolini, which took place in Ostia in 1975, was launched by the lawyer Stefano Maccioni, the lawyer who reopened the investigations in 2009 and former lawyer of the cousin of Pasolini. The initiative, explains the criminal lawyer, is linked to what was reported last December before the Anti-Mafia Commission by Maurizio Abbatino, formerly linked to the Magliana gang. “The man declared that he had stolen the pizzas from the film Salò and 120 days of Sodom on commission. In practice Pasolini would have been ‘attracted’ to the Idroscalo di Ostia to get those pizzas back in exchange for money”, explains Maccioni according to whom “new further important investigative scenarios are opening up which must necessarily be carried out”. “For this reason – he adds – we are appealing so that, 47 years after Pasolini’s murder, the Judiciary orders the reopening of the investigations to get to the truth. We want to know how, why and by whom Pier Paolo Pasolini was killed. An answer that every citizen demands, who will support our battle by signing this new petition which is accessible on the change.org website. Once the necessary signatures have been collected, I will present an application on March 5, 101 years after the birth of the great intellectual”. (HANDLE).
