ROME, JAN 12 – The State Police have identified and reported to the Judicial Authority 12 of the perpetrators of the internet defamation against the synchronized swimming champion Linda Cerruti. In August last year, returning from the synchronized swimming Europeans where she had won eight medals, the girl had celebrated by posting a photo on social media in which she appeared in a swimsuit, in a classic synchronized swimming pose, exhibiting the medals won. The photo, taken on the pier of Noli (Sv), had attracted numerous comments, some of which, the Police noted, “clearly defamatory and sexist, which the athlete, embittered”, had decided to report by contacting the Postal Police of Savona.
