Artist Phil Langone has shared new Spider-Man: No Way Home storyboards
New discarded storyboards from Spider-Man: No Way Home they show the arachnid in a confrontation against Mysterio.
The Storyboard Artist Phil Langone shared the sequence on Instagram. The scene corresponds to an alternative version of the death of the aunt maywhich occurs this time under an elevated train next to the Midtown High School. Quentin Beck/Mysterio debuted in the UCM in Spider-Man: Far From Homeand was played by Jake Gyllenhaal. This version of the character is a former employee of stark industries who has a great grudge against Tony Stark, whom he blames for stealing credit for the creation of his technology. The villain revealed Spider-Man’s identity just before he died at the end of Far From Home. However, many fans believe that Beck still lives, and unused storyboards from No Way Home would confirm this, so Marvel could have plans to bring back Gyllenhaal in the future.
