The Boston Celtics basketball players have won a ninth straight in the American NBA. The leader missed his injured top scorer Jayson Tatum, but nevertheless managed to beat the Toronto Raptors with a small difference: 106-104.
The Celtics strengthened the lead in the eastern division with their 35th win of the season. Jaylen Brown led the Boston team with 27 points. Pascal Siakam was the best player for the team from Toronto with 29 points, 10 assists and 9 rebounds.
The Philadelphia 76ers, the number 2 in the standings, trailed the Celtics by beating the Sacramento Kings: 129-127. It was a hard-fought victory for the ‘Sixers’, who took office without their stars Joel Embiid and James Harden. Tyrese Maxey was the star of the winning team with 32 points.
