Nepal, plane crashes on landing: 72 people on board die
In Nepal a plane crashed while landing causing the death of all 72 people on board: the Indian broadcaster News 18 reports it according to which there were 68 passengers and four crew members on the aircraft.
At the moment there are already 40 bodies recovered, many foreigners on board: according to initial information, in fact, on the aircraft there were five Indians, four Russians, an Irishman, two South Koreans, a Frenchman, an Argentinean and an Australian.
The plane of the local company Yeti Airlines Domestic crashed while landing between the old airport and the international airport of Pokhara, in the district of Kaski, about 200 kilometers from the capital Kathmandu.
On impact, the aircraft broke into several pieces with the aircraft immediately catching fire. It is not clear what the reasons for the disaster are.
