Neil Druckmann has spoken again about the saga The Last of Us in PS4 and PS5, since the HBO series has a scientifically based change that “would give a lot of play”; remember that The Last of us Part I is also played in PC and Steam Deck in March and without PS Plus.
The series directed by Craig Mazin (Chernobyl) continues to garner both fans who are gamers and those who have never touched a PS4 and/or PS5, since its pilot had excellent reviews.
Now that his 1×02 titled “Infected” has already been released to the public, it’s time to continue seeing similarities and differences with respect to the naughty dog games.

In the official podcast it has been commented and since HBO Max they have been changing some of the parts of the game, because everyone knows that 1:1 adaptations don’t exist as such.
And like every week with the premiere episode, these have been all the differences and changes with the game that can be seen and are present in The Last of Us capítulo 2.

It was something Craig Mazin brought to the table while researching infections, fungal growth, and “hive mind” behaviors.
Druckmann comments on the podcast that he wishes he had known about it sooner, as this is very juicy stuff for the games and an extra dose for Joel’s adventure in the first game.
“It would be a nice element of the gameplay,” he said. “It’s one of those things I’d like to have in the game.” Unfortunately (or fortune) it has been known to take advantage of the TV series and at least we can see it in another way.
