An international love scandal took place when the famous actress Natalie Portman and the Mexican actor Gael García Bernal they ended their relationship in 2006 for alleged infidelity.
We go back to the year of the event when Portman arrived in Argentina looking for the actor, but contrary to what could be expected, the actress did not go for a friendly visit, but to confront him about the rumors of a possible infidelity that reached his ears.
The couple had already been together for three years, when the rumors about Gael García being unfaithful to Natalie with the also actress Dolores Fonzi It escalated to unimaginable levels that ended with Portman and Fonzi facing each other in a supposed fight where there were blows, discussions and reproaches.
However, a couple of days later Gael García Bernal and Natalie Portman traveled to southern Argentina, they rested and reconciled. Some time later they announced their separation and then Gael confirmed his romance with Dolores Fonzi.
Dolores Fonzi was recently encouraged to speak on the Argentine program “Los Mammones” about what happened, and described everything as “horrible”.
“She appeared here (referring to Argentina) and I found it exciting, I didn’t understand. What was put together with the press was more scandalous what really happened”Fonzi confirmed.
“I met the father of my children (Gael García Bernal) many years before (…). It was all very taken out of context. Cars without lights were chasing us, I was afraid of being kidnapped.
I was leaving therapy and I was scared because I would find cars and men behind me. It was horrible,” Fonzi concluded.

The couple of actors were together for 6 years and from their relationship Lázaro and Libertad were born. Gael García Bernal moved to Argentina for a while during the pandemic to be closer to his children. Fonzi has assured on several occasions that even though they are separated, they both get along very well.
