At the end of last year we gave you all the details of the price increase announced by Movistar. This has been approximately 6.8% in all convergent offers and other operator rates, always below the CPI at the time the changes were announced. The news came into force on Friday, January 13, 2023, so now the prices of the rates are different for both new and current customers. To try to put everything in order, we tell you how they are Movistar’s new prices.
“As you know, at Movistar our commitment to you is not only that you can communicate, but also to provide you with a reliable service over the largest fiber and mobile network in Spain.
We are contacting you because our activity is being pressured by a general increase in costs (increased costs of energy, transport, raw materials and network equipment, among others).
Although we are making an effort to absorb part of this impact, so as not to compromise our quality of service and that our service is increasingly fast, robust and secure, we are also forced to increase the prices of some of our rates, although in general below the rise in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the client”.
This was the statement that Movistar sent to its customers during the month of November to notify them of changes in rates. These came into force on Friday the 13th and we have taken the opportunity to tell you what the rates of the blue operator are now.

Price changes have affected to various categories of tariffs. For this reason, we have separated by convergent and by other types of pricing plans:
Prices in miMovistar
Movistar Max with 300 Mb Fiber + 30 GB mobile line and free 2nd line rose 2 euros and went from 55.90 euros to 57.90 euros per month. Unlimited Movistar with 1 Gb Fiber + unlimited mobile line and free 2nd line rose 5 euros and went from 69.90 euros to 74.90 euros per month. Movistar Unlimited x2 with 1 Gb Fiber + 2 unlimited mobile lines rose 6 euros and went from 84.90 euros to 90.90 euros per month. Internet second residence rose 1 euro in all modalities. The additional line L maintains its price of 7.90 euros The additional line XL rose 1 euro and went from 14.90 euros to 15.90 euros per month. The Infinite additional line rose 1 euro and went from 19.90 euros to 20.90 euros per month. Essential television rose 1 euro and went from 10 euros to 11 euros per month. The All Football package rose 2 euros and went from 43 euros to 45 euros. The LaLiga package rose 2 euros and went from 30 euros to 32 euros per month. The Champions package rose 1 euro and went from 20 euros to 21 euros per month. The Fiction package with Netflix rose 1 euro in all modalities. The Sports package rose 1 euro and went from 18 euros to 19 euros per month.
