WASHINGTON – A booth McDonald’s of Indiana, United States of America (US) accidentally gave a customer a bag of cash in lieu of his order. The cash bag is handed out when the customer picks up his food.
The customer, identified as Josiah Vargas, received thousands of dollars in cash instead of the sausage McMuffin he ordered, according to a video he posted on TikTok.

Vargas is seen in the video pulling a small plastic bag filled with cash from a McDonald’s pocket. “What is this? Why are they doing this?” he asks in the video, as quoted by Fox Business.
He then wondered what he should do with the money bag. “Why are you guys doing this to me? You know how much I want this money?” asked Vargas again.
Although he admits he was tempted to keep it, Vargas is ultimately seen in the video walking back to McDonald’s to return his money. Vargas admits returning the money to the fast food chain because he is a “good guy.”
