2018’s Marvel’s Spider-Man became one of the most celebrated open-world video games in recent memory. Therefore, expectations for the sequel are through the roof. While there are still many details that are a mystery, recently a voice actor spoke about the project and increased the hype.
In a recent interview for the ComicBook Movie portal, Yuri Lowenthal, who plays Peter Parker in the Insomniac Games video games, talked about his participation in the upcoming DC Comics Legion of Super-Heroes tape. However, and as expected, he was also questioned about the new title of the spider hero.

“It’s amazing”, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 actor increases the hype
In the conversation, the American actor stated that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is a huge video game and confirmed that he is still working on it. While he refrained from revealing any further details about the title, he did say it’s amazing and he hopes fans can play it already.
“I still have a bit to do. It’s a huge game, so I’m still working on it a bit. I know (developers) are confident about their release date, and Insomniac is always good about it. Obviously, I can’t say much about the game, but I will tell you that it is amazing. I’m excited to play it. They know they have big shoes to fill from the last 2 games they’ve played. I just can’t wait for people to play it,” the voice actor commented.
Hopefully, Insomniac Games and Sony will reveal more information about this long-awaited exclusive for PlayStation 5 soon. In the meantime, we remind you that it will be available sometime in the fall of 2023, so its release still seems distant.
Of course, fans will be able to see the Spider-Man version of the games in the middle of this year. We say this because he will have a participation in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-verse, a feature film that will debut on June 2 and that will show multiple versions of the arachnid superhero.
