WASHINGTON, 12 JAN – Lisa Marie Presley, the daughter of Elvis Presley, died following a heart attack. She was just 54 years old. Her mother Priscilla made the announcement: “It is with a heavy heart that I have to share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us. She was the most passionate, strong, loving woman I’ve ever known.” The announcement of her death came a few hours after her emergency hospitalization. Elvis’ daughter attended the Golden Globes on Tuesday evening and celebrated the Best Actor award to Austin Butler who played his father in Baz Luhrmann’s film “Elvis”. A few days earlier, on January 8, she had celebrated the anniversary of the birth of her father at Graceland, Elvis’ mansion in Memphis, Tennessee. (HANDLE).
