This Friday, January 20, the second season of the Spanish series Express begins on the streaming platform Lionsgate+which is starring Maggie Civantos, in addition to having performances by Alejo Sauras, Laura Laprida, Alba Planas, Carmen Daza, Kiti Mánver, Esteban Meloni, among others.

Created by Iván Escobar, the first season about a criminal psychologist who survives a kidnapping, who forms a team to face this kind of crime, makes it clear that fear is an industry.

As of today, the second season of this story of suspense, drama and action begins, in which through eight episodes Barbara will discover that the express kidnappings entrusted to them are just the tip of the iceberg of an industry built and sustained on fear.; and that the company that employs them, Zentral Risk, is one of the main protagonists of a system of far-reaching and magnitude of corruption that will continue to endanger the lives of his family. Zentral Risk generates these crimes to earn money by fighting them with its Express Team, but if this business model works it is because there is a structure behind it that makes it possible.

In her personal facet, Barbara will face a vital turning point. When she is over 40, with two daughters in her care, separated from her husband permanently and pregnant again, she will have to make decisions that will mark the rest of her life. The appearance of a man in her life will result in a new will to live, in recovering sensations that she thought she had lost, and in the belief that second chances are possible, but that man is not who she seems to be. When her daughter, Camila, is kidnapped, Barbara is forced to kill a man to save her little girl’s life., a situation that changes her and her daughters, Gus and Camila. Heir to the intelligence and instinct of her mother, Gus will discover who was involved in Camila’s kidnapping.
While on the professional level, Bárbara and the Express Team continue working on new cases, with the great absence of Maribel, since her death has been a hard blow for everyone and, both Dulce and Zero, will not stop until they clarify it. Also, there is a new member in the Team: Asia, a girl with a strange gift, when touching objects, she has a kind of precognitions that can help the Team to solve her cases. Soon, the Express Team will have to deal with the kidnapping of a famous streamer, with a person whose own life is kidnapped by having been inoculated with a poison for which there is no antidote and the Team itself will be the victim.
Express will premiere a new episode every Friday and the first season is available now on Lionsgate+.
