The German football club RB Leipzig cannot rely on Dani Olmo in the coming weeks. The Spanish attacker sustained a muscle injury in the 2-1 league match against VfB Stuttgart on Friday. According to Leipzig, Olmo will be sidelined for “several weeks”.
The German club has been unbeaten for sixteen official games in a row. Leipzig is in second place in the Bundesliga just behind Bayern Munich. The team of trainer Marco Rose reached the eighth finals in the Champions League, in which Manchester City will be the opponent in a few weeks. The first game is scheduled for February 22 in Leipzig. The question is whether Olmo can participate. The Spain international has scored two goals in the Bundesliga this season.
