Suara.com – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will ensnare those suspected of helping the inactive Papua Governor Lukas Enembe to escape. Previously, Lukas Enembe was suspected of wanting to escape when he was arrested in Papua on Tuesday (10/1/2023).
Head of KPK Reporting, Ali Fikri, said this would be investigated during the examination of witnesses.
“Whether other parties will be examined as witnesses to corroborate his suspicion that the suspect LE (Lukas) has fled, make sure we will develop it in that direction,” Ali told reporters at the KPK’s Red and White Building, South Jakarta, Monday ( 16/1/2023).
Investigation of the party suspected of helping Lukas Enembe to escape, said Ali, referring to the Corruption Crime Act (Tipikor).
“Because the law also allows for articles such as article 21 of the Corruption Law, we are always developing them during the investigation process,” said Ali.
