The Juventus club will oppose the decision of the federal Court of Appeal. In the meantime, the investigation by the federal prosecutor continues on salary maneuvers and suspicious partnerships with other clubs
In the next few hours Juventus will certainly present an appeal (it has 30 days from today to do so) to the Sports Guarantee Board at Coni chaired by Gabriella Palmieri Sandulli. This is not a real third degree of justice outside the sphere of the Football Federation, rather a pronouncement on legitimacy and not on merit. What does it mean ? That the task of the judges of this sort of sports “Cassation” will be to verify possible violations of the rights of the defense or formal defects or overt deviant interpretations of the Sports Justice Code.
In the case in question, the legal battle will presumably focus on a matter of time and articles, the lawyers will argue in the appeal a violation within the maximum time (30 days) for the revocation (the appeal to reopen the trial) and a wrong declination of the article 4, that of “disloyalty”, in practice the “mother” of the sentence and minus 15. The prosecutor’s office and the judges brought it up on the basis of the objection to article 6 which provides for the involvement of the companies in the event of the liability of its senior legal representatives. The lawyers will try to relaunch by emphasizing that article 4 has not been challenged directly to the club and therefore the condemnation on a profile of the Code that had not been challenged in the referral.

In short, the story continues. And it also continues with the other investigation that the federal prosecutor is carrying out and on which he has asked for a 40-day extension of the investigation. In this case, Juve’s two salary maneuvers and the suspicious partnerships of the Juventus club with other clubs are at stake, also highlighted by the papers sent by the Turin public prosecutor’s office to the Football Federation. Here the times are longer and for possible referrals we will have to wait for the month of April.
