Jason Momoa has spoken about his end as Aquaman. Speaking to Variety, the DC Comics star has spoken about his future in the DC Universe. Ultimately, several major studio heroes are going to be revamped. Everything will arise from the new DCU created by James Gunn.
When asked about his meeting with DC Studios co-CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran, Jason Momoa announced that many good things are coming and noted that he continues to maintain a good relationship with Warner Bros. Discovery. “It was very, very wonderful,” she said. “I’m in the house at Warner Bros. and they really like what I’m doing and we have a lot of great things coming up.” But does that mean he won’t be Aquaman for years to come?

Nevertheless, Jason Momoa hinted that he could continue to be linked to DC Comics in the future. The actor hinted that he might play a new role in the future. Is it about the character of Lobo?
“Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom will be out next December. And then… You know, I’ll always be this character,” Jason Momoa said. “Rumors are…I will always be this superhero. There’s no one to come and take shit, and then, there may be some other characters as well. I can interpret other things, too. Sure, I can be funny and wild and charming from time to time.”
Although Jason Momoa’s run as Aquaman is likely over, he made it perfectly clear that this role will always be special to him and that he will always be a part of DC history thanks to his stage playing Arthur Curry. With appearances in what will be four theatrical films alongside Zack Snyder’s Justice League and a cameo in Peacemaker, he made an impressive mark as the underwater hero.
