TEHRAN, 29 JAN – “If any measure is taken against the Revolutionary Guards, Iran’s response will be decisive”: said the Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein Amirabdollahian, meeting with four Iranian parliamentarians hit by European Union sanctions . “The Europeans – said the head of Tehran’s diplomacy again – are aware of their vulnerability and their situation. Thus, despite the fact that the Pasdarans have been declared a ‘terrorist organisation’ by the European Parliament, the European Union has come to the conclusion that it cannot play with fire. So, instead of the Revolutionary Guards they decided to sanction four Iranian parliamentarians in a propaganda show”, added Amirabdollahian, concluding that “the only result of their move was that of heavy sanctions against members of the European Union”.
