The Institute of the National Housing Fund for Workers (Infonavit) reminds accredited This January 10th the term ends to convert financing denominated in Times Minimum Wage (VSM) to pesos and thus, avoid an increase in 2023.
It is important to make the change, through the Shared Responsibility program, after the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Inegi) made it known the 7.82% increase that the Measurement and Update Unit (UMA) will have and from which, the Institute must determine the adjustment that its financing will have this year.
The conversion is done free of charge, easily and securely through My Infonavit Account (micuenta.infonavit.org.mx).
Solo needed:
Access My Infonavit Account (micuenta.infonavit.org.mx). Choose the My Credit tab and then Shared Responsibility. Enter the state and zip code where the home is located. Click on Procedure and select the Shared Responsibility column. Confirm the procedure, save and print the acknowledgment with the amount of the fixed monthly payment with the conversion to pesos.
To help people convert their credit, the Institute provides advice to borrowers at its 89 Infonavit Service Centers throughout the country.
It should be remembered that the VSM credits that were granted through co-financing cannot be converted to pesos, since they are two credits: one with the bank and the other with Infonavit, but which are linked to the same mortgage.
