For example, agents who come into action in Haaksbergen often come from Hengelo, in the case of incidents in Tubbergen from Oldenzaal and, in the case of Olst-Wijhe, from Deventer or Raalte. “That sometimes doesn’t go well,” says Westerhoff. “For example, if there is a report in Oldenzaal, many agents immediately go to it. If no one then thinks of continuing to patrol the vicinity of surrounding municipalities, the travel time often becomes long with reports there.”
