BEIRUT – Lebanese Hezbollah warns they will not leave Palestine alone to be attacked by “Zionist wolves”.
Senior Hezbollah official Hassan Hoballah stated Israel was afraid of the potential for the Al-Ridwan Brigade movement to enter Israeli-occupied Palestine.
The Hezbollah official in charge of Palestinian relations reportedly Rai al-Youm said the United States (US) advised Israel not to change the rules of the game in Palestine following the desecration of Al Aqsa Mosque by Israel’s Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir of the far-right.
Hoballah said Israel knew fighting with the resistance axis was “impossible” and feared the growing strength of the Lebanese resistance groups.
“The resistance now surrounds Palestine and has weapons that will change the rules of engagement,” said Hoballah, reported by the Middle East Monitor on January 9, 2023.

He emphasized, “That’s why we look to the future with so much hope.”
According to Rai al-Youm, many Israeli journalists and experts wanted information about the Al-Ridwan Brigades, also known as the Al-Ridwan Special Forces.
Rai al-Youm reported that Israel believed the Al-Ridwan Brigades would take over the Al-Jaleel region in northern Galilee.
“The brigade is made up of elite Hezbollah fighters and assigned to carry out secret missions,” said the Rai al-Youm report.
“The resistance in Lebanon has struck a new balance preventing Israel from carrying out any attack to avoid any response,” Hoballah said.
He claimed the US and Israel had changed their strategy in the region from military confrontation to economic and commercial action.
