Initially, it concerns fifty refugees from Ukraine, mostly families with children, who are currently being cared for in residential care location De Statenhorst in Heino. It is no longer possible to accommodate refugees at this residential care location, because it has turned out that the combination of refugees and people who are in their last phase of life entails many challenges. In the course of March, the Ukrainian refugees will therefore move to the Mirtehuis.
