He was 48 years old, he was in charge of AC Milan Academy activities in Kuwait
Very sad news has shaken the world of Milan football: Patrizio Billio, a former footballer and current coach of the Milan Academy in Kuwait, has suddenly passed away. The coach was seized last night by a sudden illness, a heart attack while he was playing padel with friends. Billio, hired by the AC Milan club last summer, was 48 years old.
Former technical director of the Rossoneri, graduated in Motor Sciences with a Sports Management specialization at the Cattolica in Milan, he was working on the next Milan Summer Camp (based in Cortina d’Ampezzo) together with Pietro Vierchowod. In his career he had played with Ravenna, Verona, Casarano, Ternana, Monza and Ancona. In 1996 he had made an experience in the Premier League wearing the Crystal Palace shirt.
