Actor Adipati Dolken admits that he is addicted to playing antagonist characters, especially for the horror genre.
“Antagonists really like it, basically when it comes to horror I want to be an antagonist because finally I now have two worlds,” said Adipati when met after the premiere of the film “Magic Baby” in Jakarta, Friday (13/1/2013) quoted from Antara.
Adipati played the role of a shaman named Dorman in the movie “The Magic Baby”. This is his first experience playing a protagonist or an evil character.
This “Perfect Stranger” player, admits that he always gets the role of a good person. When he was offered to be an antagonist, Adipati seemed to have a new challenge.

“As for the protagonist, you have to have good norms. As for the antagonist, it’s normal for you to be free, want to swear at people, grandpa, or whatever. The challenge is how to limit it so it doesn’t become overly antagonistic,” he said.
Canti Tachril’s husband said that he was open to getting another antagonistic role. But for drama films, he prefers to be the protagonist.
“If the drama wants a protagonist, if horror gets a different color, it’s fun. If someone offers again, I’ll see if I get an antagonist,” Adipati said.
“Magic Baby” co-starring Vino G Bastian, Sarah Fajira, Dessi Ratnasari, and Teuku Rifnu Wikana. The film will be released from January 19, 2023.
