As planned, the Granblue Fantasy Fes 2022-2023 kicked off today, an event entirely dedicated to the Granblue Fantasy franchise. This year’s edition would be very special because Cygames had promised that it would present news of the promising Granblue Fantasy: Relink. Well, the company complied… but in the end it left a bittersweet taste.
The Japanese company took advantage of the event to present Granblue Fantasy: Relink material, including a gameplay demonstration and a trailer, in which it was possible to see spacious environments and colossal enemies, which show some improvements compared to old videos.
Subsequently, the presenters, including a person in charge of the development team, shared a live gameplay session in which the details of the combat and the combo system were shown through the characters Id, Charlotta, Yodarha and Narmaya.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink can be played almost on its own
Perhaps the most striking thing about this new presentation was that Granblue Fantasy: Relink will have an automatic help system (Auto Assist) that will make life easier for beginners, since it will help them carry out actions such as healing, navigation and chain combos by pressing a single button.
If you thought this is a lot of help, get ready, this mode will be even more benevolent. We say because in its Full Assist version it will do practically everything for the player, so that he only worries about moving the lever to make the character walk; thus, the player will be able to win battles by moving only 1 finger.
This might seem silly to some players, but it’s important to mention that it’s an optional mode. Cygames mentioned that it is intended for beginners or players who just want to see the story. On the other hand, we do not doubt that many players use this method to farm without playing.
In case you missed it: development for Granblue Fantasy: Relink is nearing completion.

And the release date of Granblue Fantasy: Relink?
Taking into account that the game takes so long to develop and some delays, what fans were waiting for was the announcement of the release date… but it didn’t come. The live stream chat was also eager for the announcement of a worldwide public demo, considering that event attendees could play a trial, but they didn’t either.
However, Cygames reiterated that Granblue Fantasy: Relink is scheduled for 2023 and that it will debut worldwide on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC (via Steam). Meanwhile, we leave you with the new gameplay.
