BERLIN, 31 JAN – “It was known that Germany has positions that do not coincide with the Commission. Germany thinks that the debt reduction must be quicker and faster than what the Commission’s proposal sees”. European Commissioner Paolo Gentiloni said so in an interview with ANSA and RAI in Berlin. “But it is very good that he has finally decided to enter the discussion and to consider the Commission’s proposal as a basis. And I acknowledge this to Minister Lindner, who has committed himself ”, he added, underlining that, by working hard on it, he hopes to reach an agreement. (HANDLE).
