WASHINGTON – Former speaker of the United States House of Representatives (US) Nancy Pelosi invited priests to her home to perform an exorcism in November.
The exorcism took place a month after the attack on her husband Paul, her daughter told the New York Times on Sunday (22/1/2023).
Alexandra Pelosi explained her mother felt “absolutely guilty” for her husband’s injuries.
“That attack took a toll on her soul,” Alexandra Pelosi said of her mother.
He said the attack “completely ruined” the politician’s career. “During Thanksgiving, he had the priests come over, tried to do an exorcism at home and have services,” said Alexandra Pelosi.

Paul Pelosi’s assailant, illegal Canadian immigrant David DePape, was allegedly looking for Nancy, who was not at home, when he instead found Paul asleep in the bedroom.
Police say the two were found fighting over a hammer and DePape attacked Paul Pelosi with it after officers told him to drop the gun.
Nancy Pelosi confirmed to CNN’s Chris Wallace on Sunday that she was “deeply sad” about the assault on her husband.
“Because (DePape) was looking for me, and my dear husband, who’s not even that political, actually paid the price,” Nancy revealed.
