According to the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) food waste has a triple impact: environmentalestimating that between 8% and 10% of global greenhouse gas emissions are associated with it; economicsince in Mexico the losses reach 491 billion pesos and socialsince, when these foods become waste, they cannot reach the tables of the most precarious families.
In the last year, the increase in the cost of inputs, high transportation costs, war conflicts, among others, have put pressure on the food marketin such a way that several of them showed a considerable increase in their prices and some analysts estimate that this trend will continue during 2023.

5
Plan purchases

In the latter, we can include the benefits and incentives that some organizations grant to their collaborators, such as electronic purses for groceries or food.
6
Reuse what is normally thrown away
