1903 – 2023 or 120 years of American motorcycles! How not to celebrate them with the right rock accompaniment? The mega birthday party that Harley-Davidson is organizing to properly celebrate the 120th milestone promises to be unforgettable. A great show will be staged on the Milwaukee lakefront for theHarley-Davidson Homecoming Festival in his hometown. In the last few hours have been announced as headliner i Green Day e i Foo Fighters and they aren’t the only big rockers in attendance from 13 to 16 July coming.
Harley-Davidson Homecoming Festival events will take place in various venues in the Milwaukee area, including theHarley-Davidson Museum, l’Harley-Davidson Powertrain Operations e presso i concessionari Harley-Davidson locali. Il Veterans Park in downtown Milwaukee will be the epicenter of family-friendly activities and music on Fridays and Saturdays. Green Day will headline an evening show on Friday July 14th. Foo Fighters will headline Saturday July 15th. Also performing over the weekend are: Cody Jinks, Social Distortion, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Phantogram, White Reaper e KennyHoopla.
Veterans Park will also host a family-friendly festival that includes music, entertainment, activities and a variety of dining options. There is no doubt that in addition to the great attraction for HD party, also the fact of being able to see Foo Fighters back on stage with the new lineup it will be a great emotion after the farewell to the drummer Taylor Hawkins. Il Museo Harley-Davidson will serve as a central gathering point for free events. The twenty-acre campus will host free live music, street food and skill demonstrations. The Museum will be open throughout the event and the celebrations will conclude on Sunday with a motorcycle parade which will pass through Milwaukee.
There will also be an exhibition of the new Harley-Davidson range (by the way, find the latest news here) and it will also be possible to take demo rides at Harley-Davidson Powertrain Operations in Menomonee Falls, where visitors can also take a guided tour of the factory to see where Harley-Davidson Milwaukee-Eight and Revolution Max V-Twin engines are made.
Six Milwaukee-area Harley-Davidson dealerships will also host events and entertainment. These dealerships include House of Harley-Davidson (Greenfield), Milwaukee Harley-Davidson (Milwaukee), Suburban Motors Harley-Davidson (Thiensville), Uke’s Harley-Davidson (Kenosha), West Bend Harley-Davidson (West Bend), and Wisconsin Harley- Davidson (Oconomowoc).
